Our goal is to be Your Connection to Lifelong Learning.

With over 40 years in this community, learners of all backgrounds benefit from our programs.  Our Community Adult Learning Program focuses on these areas:

  • Adult Literacy and Foundational Learning – Adult Literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), Volunteer Tutor Program, Basic Computer, Numeracy & Foundational skills.
  • Community Capacity Building – Community & Family Development, Workplace Readiness, GED, Computer & Technology Training, Communication skills.
  • Learner Support ServicesPost-Secondary information, Computer Access, Building Community Connections, Knowledgeable Referrals.
  • Family Literacy Early Literacy Programs for families with children ages 0-6 years.

Since 2012, SALC has been the Campus Alberta Central Learning Site in our area. Through Campus Alberta Central we are able to offer various post-secondary programs through accredited institutions, making it possible for students to take advanced education in their own community.

Making use of our space and available technology, we also offer meeting space and video conferencing. Charges associated with this service depend on connection fees to specific sites.
